New Social Media Portrait!
Yesterday, in class, we did Social Media Portraits, where my classmates and I all took pictures for each other and we were to edit them however we desired. The portraits are so that prospective clients can see how we look and to show what we do.
I really wanted to show my focus on fine art and conceptual photography, as well as creative portraiture.
I was inspired by a photo a friend of mine shared the other day of an Instagram model and her self shot image. So, I went to Goodwill (in my crutches) and found the most ornate large frame I could find and later popped out the painting that was originally residing in it. I also hobbled through Joann's and found some gorgeous black ruffle fabric with gold stars on it and some black costume satin to go underneath the other fabric.
I would like to give special thanks to Aric for helping me carry stuff in and out of the house, Nick Fantasia for taking the photo and helping with the set up, and Tylor Hutcheson for assisting as well!
